Youth League Rules

Every season there will be a separate league of youth players, separate from the normal league. Managers are not expected to be involved in the running of the youth league games.

Managers may at the start of the season choose to loan some of their players to the youth league.

Players sent to youth league must be below the age of 20.

There will be a skill cap for entry to the youth league. All players must be skill 10 or below to attend. If they pass skill 10 during the season, that's not a problem.  If you have skill 11 players you should be able to find game time for these players, either from lower leagues or in cup games and some of the less competitive league games.

Attendance is $2m per player and there is NO option to recall your loanees during the season. Finances will be updated prior to season start so you’ll know where you are financially. There will be a deadline for when you can send your players and this will be on the season schedule list.

Youth league games will not begin until after the deadline for submission has passed.

All players aged under 20 have to achieve a set number of minutes played to get their annual skill increase - 720 minutes for a full increase, 360 for 500abs. Failure to get 360 minutes of game time for an under 20 will result in no skill increase at all. This applies to players from standard and youth leagues.

There are no guarantees that youth players will get game time so if you choose to send a skill 6, expect little game time
and no refund of your $2m.

Attendance of the youth league is no guarantee of minutes played. If your players are not high enough skill to get in the first team, they will not get their increase. If you feel a team isn't giving your player fair game time a manager is allowed to pay $2m to move him to another team - again with no guarantee of game time.

standard league and are:
